Fire Out There, Written And Performed By Craig Hubbard

  1. I feel like your passion is
    Like standing at the station
    When the train goes by.

You can get so far by faking
    What toll is this taking
    On all of our lives

But I see a fire out there
    There's a fire somewhere
I'll see the fire in you
If you see the fire in me too. .

We’ve been locked inside our houses.
With our children and our spouses
    For way too long.

The streets are filled with protests.
    Will people finally notice.
    Their sad sad song.

But I see a fire out there
    There's a fire near.
I'll light the fire in you
If you light the fire in me too. .

Is there a future that we can hope for?
Is there a time when I'll open your door?
And see your smiling face, you'll be that saving Grace.
    That I so adore.

We have masks on little children.
And our parents are in hiding
    To try to stay alive

But the sun it keeps burning
And the world it keeps turning
    Don’t run and hide.

Oh, there's a fire out there
    There's a fire somewhere
I'll light the fire in you
If you light the fire in me too.
