Maybe Tomorrow, Written & Performed By Craig Hubbard

Maybe Tomorrow
I could go to Dayton I guess.
It’s good to know my options are open
Maybe I’ve been wasting my time.
Feel the same as when it was snowing.

Well I know it doesn't matter where we runt to.
You don’t find freedom from running.
But I don’t think I’ve smiled in two days.
If I did I did it unknowing.

I don’t want to lie to you.  I don’t want to cry for you.
I just want to hold you.
And I won’t upset you, baby, I won’t obsess you, honey.
I just want to know you. .

I drove to Memphis once.
A thousand miles passing below me.
I watched the sun go down with my friends.
That weekend no body owed me.

The blues were like magic honey.
Dripping from electric guitars.
Well now that’s what’s inside me, sweetheart.
One can’t be a threat when he’s just drowning in bars.

I don’t want to lie to you.  I don’t want to cry for you.
I just want to hold you.
And I won’t upset you, baby, I won’t obsess you, honey.
I just want to know you. .

And I guess I’ll suffer for you.  I pay my penance.
Because my sentence is due.
I know that isn’t your choice.
I always do this, but it’ll be over quick.

Because.  Maybe I’ll take action.
Maybe I’ll take action tomorrow.
Because, because.  Maybe I’ll take action.
Maybe I’ll take action tomorrow.
Maybe I’ll take action, baby
Maybe I’ll take action, honey.  Tomorrow.
Tomorrow. Tomorrow.
Tomorrow. Tomorrow.
I’ll come by tomorrow.
If I get the nerve.
