Pop Pop writes a blog about the things he’s seen and done How things have changed since olden days when he was very young
We didn’t have a Wii says he but we still had some fun
Yes things were very different when my Pop Pop was young
Shoes had laces, clock had hands and faces
You didn’t take your phone when you went to different places
The phone was attached to the wall
And didn’t do anything but call
Things were different when my dad was a kid at least that’s what he said
The phone numbers for all his friends were stored up in his head
They used a giant paper map instead of being led
By a gps but I would guess they just stayed home instead
Shoes had laces, clock had hands and faces
You didn’t take your phone when you went to different places
The phone was attached to the wall
And didn’t do anything but call
Shoes had laces, clock had hands and faces
You didn’t take your phone when you went to different places
The phone was attached to the wall
And didn’t do anything but call
Yes things were very different when my Pop Pop was young
Shoes had laces, clock had hands and faces
You didn’t take your phone when you went to different places
The phone was attached to the wall
And didn’t do anything but call
Things were different when my dad was a kid at least that’s what he said

And didn’t do anything but call
I really love this.
